“Ganassi” Recorders

· Alto in G
· Soprano in C

I offer this model with different bodies in order to play in A466, A440, or A415. I have chosen maple for the flexibility and resonance that this wood gives to the sound.
At the Kunsthistorische Museum in Vienna, there is an original renaissance recorder with a large bore and a flared pavillion that works with the fingerings that Sylvestro Ganassi suggested in his treatise “La Fontegara” in 1535. Most of the “Ganassi” types of recorders made now are based on this model .

“Rafi and Grece” Recorders
In project

The first instruments that I plan to make are the tenor and the bass from a recorder set, of which several originals are at the “Academia Philarmonica” in Bologna, Italy. These instruments are known for having a narrow tube, almost cylindrical, which gives them the possibility to play more than two octaves with quasi- “baroque” fingerings .
